Describing myself? Not my strong point, but here we go.
I’m Hannah - storyteller, podcaster, recovering chaos enthusiast and founder of Class A People. I didn’t set out to build a brand. I set out to stop ruining my life. Somewhere between getting sober, getting diagnosed, and getting really honest, this thing kind of… happened.
I’m not a coach. I don’t have a morning routine. And I’m definitely not here to tell you how to live your life. I just started saying things out loud that most people keep quiet - and apparently, that struck a nerve.
Class A People was never about becoming an eight-step skincare, green-smoothie-drinking perfectionist - or playing it ‘cool’, whatever ‘cool’ is. It was about honesty, which lets be honest is getting rarer by the day.
What started with addiction, has grown into something bigger - a space for anyone who wants more. More meaning, more truth, more freedom, more contentment.
Whether you’re getting sober, leaving a relationship, unlearning patterns, figuring out who you are, or just trying to feel a little less lost - you belong here.
It all started with … me, a mic and absolutely nothing else to be honest
I started a TikTok account in June 2024 (yes, at 30), three months into my recovery - initially from drugs and alcohol. But it turned out those weren’t the problem.
I was.
11,000 followers in, I thought: “I must have a podcast.” (There’s the ADHD shining through.)
On 12th July 2024, I bought a mic, recorded & released the first ever episode. By the 21st, Class A People was ranked 151 across Spotify and No. 5 in Top Education Podcasts. TERRIFYING.
By December we were hitting 12K downloads a week. And just before Christmas? No. 66 overall on Spotify. No. 3 in Education, sitting next to
Davina McCall and Mel Robbins. Mad.
From the start, Class A People was always about platforming the people no one usually listens to - the ones who look like your brother, your colleague, your kid’s school teacher. Because addiction, neurodivergence, and starting again don’t have a look.
Class A People is a voice for anyone who’s ever felt like the outsider. It’s for the big dreamers, the misfits, and the people who know deep down they’re worth more than the life they’re currently living.
It’s more than a podcast, a platform, or a story - it’s a global movement. Born from lived experience. Powered by honesty.
